Effective 5 November 2026. These terms are between you and Pur-N-Kleen Water Company, LLC, New Mexico, USA (“we”), the publisher of Examine Metadata (the “app”). By using the app or buying a plan you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
License. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on your own devices. A plan applies to the Google account you bought it with. The app is licensed to you, not sold.
Plans. The yearly plan renews automatically each year at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel it in Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan keeps working until the end of the year already paid. The one-time payment unlocks the app with nothing to renew. Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its terms.
What the app does. The app removes hidden data from copies of your photos and checks each copy before you share it. It never changes your originals, and it cannot remove what the picture itself shows. It is not a certified forensic tool. You decide what you share, and you may use the app only for lawful purposes.
NO WARRANTY. THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR EVIDENTIARY VALUE, ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. BY USING THE APP YOU WAIVE ANY CLAIM TO SUCH DAMAGES, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.
Some places do not allow excluding warranties or limiting damages, so parts of these terms may not apply to you. Nothing in them takes away rights the law gives you that cannot be waived.
Changes and law. If these terms change, the new version will be published in the app with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a translation differs from the English, the English version governs.
